Applying Measurements to MPR Images

1. Load the original MR images to the default Viewer.

2. Change to an MPR rendition.

3. In the Graphics toolbar tab, select the appropriate tool from the Measurements tab.

Important: Measurements made in one planar view will not be visible in a different planar view.

If you place a line measurement on slice position X of one planar view, you can scroll through the planar view and the line measurement will display each time you reach the slice position X.

Measurement values are contained in the specific planar view. For example, the measurements marked in the coronal view are not visible in the axial or sagittal views. To see measurements made in the coronal planar view, you must return to the coronal planar view.

When you change the MPR renditions, the measurements are always visible. For example, you apply measurements to images from the MPR rendition. If you change the rendition from MPR to Viewer and then to MinPR, the measurements you made on the MPR images are also visible on the MinPR images.
