When you select the MPR Double Oblique layout, you can use the capabilities explained here.
After you manipulate an image, you can reset the reference images.
In the toolbar menu, click MPR --> Reset Reference Images.
The selection resets the orientation of each axes. The reference point, however, remains unchanged.
The Reset Reference Images option is only available in the MPR Double Oblique layout.
You can reset the orientation of the Result Image.
MPR |
In the toolbar menu, click MPR --> Axial / Coronal / or Sagittal. |
Cardiac Analysis |
In the toolbar menu, click MPR --> Reset Heart Axis. |
Resetting the result image does not change the axis or the orientation of none of the reference images. The only change in the reference windows is the position of the reference line.
In the MPR and Cardiac Analysis applications, you can reset the patient orientation for the result image in the MPR Double Oblique layout. The other two images automatically reset. There are three possible combinations.

Combination 2

Combination 3

Example
Result Image |
Axial |
Coronal |
Sagittal |
If you reset the top-right window to show the axial orientation, then the bottom-left window shows the coronal orientation and the bottom-right window shows the sagittal orientation.

Sagittal |
If you reset the bottom-right window to show the sagittal orientation, then the top-right window shows the axial orientation and the bottom-left window shows the coronal orientation.
Important: Resetting the result image does not change the axis or the orientation of the reference images. Resetting the result image only changes the position of the reference line in the Reference windows.
In the Cardiac Analysis application, you can reset the heart axes of the reference image. The heart axes include short, long, and four chambers. When you reset one of the images to a specific heart axes, the other images reset to the relevant perpendicular views. There are three possible combinations.

You can change the orientation of the axes.
1. Use the mouse to select an axes on one of the reference views.
2. Press Shift on the keyboard and drag the axes.
The perpendicular axis appearing in the same window rotates, keeping 90° between the two axes. The third perpendicular axis (not seen in the window) and the image shown in the window do not change. Changing the orientation of the axes does not affect the result image.
In the MPR Double Oblique layout, you can pan, scroll, swivel, roll and automatic roll all three reference views. You can apply windowing, measurements, and rendering (MipPR or MinPR).
Exceptions
Dual windowing is not available in MPR Double Oblique layout.
The MPR Double Oblique capabilities are only available when the MPR Double Oblique layout is active. If you apply another layout, the MPR Double Oblique capabilities are not available.
All image parameters are synchronized in the MPR Double Oblique layout.
Example
If you apply windowing to the reference image or result image, the windowing is automatically applied to the other three images. Scrolling one of the four images causes the other three images to scroll, according to the new position of the reference point.
When you swivel one of the reference images, the other two reference images swivel and retain a perpendicular relationship between the images. The result image orientation does not change as a result of swiveling a reference image.
Important: When you swivel the result image, the reference images are not synchronized.
