The minimum volume option is similar to the bridge option in that it lets you separate smaller tissue volumes from the main tissue body. Minimum volume is different from the bridge option because it uses the volume of the tissues, instead of the number of pixels with which they are attached to the main tissue body.
For example, a minimum volume value of 4 means "disconnect any tissue mass that has a volume of less than 4 pixels from the main tissue body."
1. From the Tissue Definition toolbar, click Tissue Definition Parameters 
.
The Tissue Parameters dialog box appears.
2. Enter a minimum volume or use the arrows to select a minimum volume value in the Min Volume field.
3. Click OK.
