Viewing Information in the Patient Mini-Archive

The following information is displayed in the Patient Mini-Archive.

Toolbar

Shows the default study filter. By default, the Same Body Part filter is applied.

Patient Name

The name of the selected patient (Last, First, Middle).

Study Header

  • The date, time, and the number of images in the study.

  • A link if the study has an associated report or order.

  • Studies that are currently loaded in the Vue PACS Client appear in bold and show the different groups of images that are loaded.

  • Studies that are available, but not currently loaded, appear in regular font and are collapsed. (If you click next to the name of the study, a dialog box appears, enabling you to load the entire case or only key images.)

Groups Area

  • A thumbnail of the first image of the loaded group. If a thumbnail does not appear, contact the system administrator to configure the thumbnail display option.

  • DICOM information for the group, such as the number of images in the group, the image type, and the series number. A tooltip shows the group rule tags.

All available groups appear according to the series number.

Groups appearing in white text are currently displayed in the Viewer.

Groups appearing in gray text are not currently displayed in the Viewer.

Groups that automatically run cine when loaded are marked with a movie icon in the group thumbnail.

NOTE: You can click the R, O, or N link in the Study Header only if the Vue PACS Client has been properly installed and configured.

You can also click Collapse in the Study Header to collapse the individual study. When all the studies are collapsed, use the toolbar options to scroll through the Study Headers. The study is expanded when you click .
