The windowing option is only available if the class is Active and Allow Windowing is checked. The option allows you to view an image to match the image being viewed (for example, CT or MRI), which may differ from the default settings the system uses to view a particular image.
You can change the windowing level dynamically by moving the mouse over the windowing annotation at the bottom right of the image.
1. Move your mouse over the windowing annotation.
The cursor changes to the windowing icon.
2. Drag the mouse up or down to obtain the required windowing level.
3. Release the mouse button.
You can also change the windowing level by clicking the middle mouse button and moving the mouse up and down and side to side to obtain the required windowing level.
