About Reference Lines

Reference lines display the current location of the slices. The PowerViewer contains options that let you determine how reference lines appear on images. Reference lines for a group of images can be displayed on another group displayed in the same viewbox.

Reference Lines can either be shown or hidden.  When Reference Lines are active, the lines show on visible slices for the active group.

For example, if PowerViewer groups and MPR groups are active and you select Show Reference Lines, you can swivel one or more of the MPR groups to a different orientation. The reference lines will display automatically where applicable.

In registered studies, the reference Lines can relate between current and prior studies and further enable comparison capabilities.

Important: The results of any registration-related operations affect the reference lines.
