The Slab option consists of two parallel clipping planes that let you see a portion of the acquired volume.
To draw a slab:
1. Click Slab 
.
2. Draw a line across the image.
Once one line is drawn, the system automatically draws the second line at the same measurement from the center and deletes everything outside of the lines.
