About Volume Rendering Protocols

Protocols are preset configurations that let you obtain views in various cases with a single click. Protocols differentiate between the classes in the image.

A class consists of the class name, opacity, base color, and curve of the volume rendered image. Classes are displayed as graphs, which can be easily altered to suit the needs and requirements of the image being viewed. Each class represents a different object (body part) in the image, such as bones, vessels, and so on.
