You can use the Viewer Settings window to configure some of the view settings of the PowerViewer applications. The settings can apply to a user or to the entire system.
1. Open the Application Settings window.
2. From the left pane, select Viewing Settings.
3. Click one of the following:
Configure Viewer Settings in the right pane
Viewer/MPR Settings in the Application Settings tree in the left pane
The Viewer Settings appear in the right pane.
4. Set the following properties:
Default Mode for the Viewer and for MPR: Determines the default mode when you load a study. Select one of the following modes:
- Zoom mode: Select to enable zooming in or out by clicking on the image and dragging the mouse up or down respectively.
- Windowing mode: Select to set the optimal brightness and contrast of the images.
- Pointer (neutral mode): Select to disable all functions.
Zoom Properties: Determines from which point an image will be zoomed.
- Zoom from Center: Magnifies the image from its center.
- Zoom from Cursor: Magnifies the image from the position of the cursor.
Right Click Scroll Control: Enables you to specify the scrolling method. You can also set the ability to scroll in a loop.
Magnifying Glass Properties: Lets you define an area to be magnified and the magnification.
- Initial size: The initial size of the red box in the window (the selected area).
- Zoom factor: Indicates how much to magnify the selected area.
Image Sorting Options: Determines what fields will appear in the sort sub-menu.
- Tag: Add or delete up to seven tags (sort names).
- Display Name: The name displayed for the selected Tag.
- Ascending: Select whether the field is sorted in ascending or descending order (checked means ascending).
5. Click OK.
