The properties defined here determine how graphic elements will be displayed on an image.
1. Open the Application Settings window.
2. From the left pane, select Graphics and Measurements.
3. Click one of the following:
Configure Graphic Elements Settings in the right pane
Graphic Properties in the Application Settings tree in the left pane
The Graphics Properties window appears in the right pane.
4. Set the graphics properties:
Select whether to display graphics measurements with a black background.
Select whether graphic elements work in Single Action Mode, meaning that the tool is only active for one graphic (for example, oval ROI, line measurement) and returns to the default mode. If this is not selected, graphics of the same type can be drawn multiple times without selecting the element each time from the menu.
Select whether, when you draw an arrow, the first click marks the head or tail of an arrow.
Select whether to allow creation of a spheroid when you change a sphere
Set the measurement units and the radius size for fixed-size spheres and the step size for resizing of fixed-size spheres.
Select pre-Defined Text Items
Define the text items that can be placed on an image. These are the items that appear on the drop-down menu when the Text graphic element is selected.
NOTE: Each text item that you define here has an associated function key.
You can change the priority of the text items in the list using the up or down arrows.
Delete a pre-defined text item by selecting it in the list and clicking the Delete icon.
5. Click OK.
NOTE: To place text on an image, click the Text button on the Graphics toolbar, then click where you want the text to be placed on the image. The Please Enter Text dialog box appears, with the defined text appearing in the drop-down list. If you know the function key tat is associated with the required defined text, you can click that instead.
