Each new display protocol is based on an existing display protocol. After you log on, the Display Protocol Editor window appears.
1. In the DP list, select the display protocol you want to use as the base for the new display protocol.
2. Click Add 
.
The New DP dialog box appears.
3. In the DP Name field, type the name for the new display protocol.
4. If you want to change the base display protocol, select a different base display protocol from the Base DP drop-down menu.
NOTE: The new display protocol has the same viewing settings and conditions as the base display protocol until you make modifications.
5. In the DP Level area, select whether the display protocol should be Private, Group, or System (depending on User Permissions available).
6. Click OK.
The name of the new display protocol appears above the selected Base DP.
7. If desired, you can change the order of the new display protocol in the DP List.
8. Go to Defining Display Protocol Conditions to define the conditions and viewing properties for the new display protocol.
