Logging on to the Display Protocol Editor

The display protocols defined using the Display Protocol Editor are user-specific, group-specific, or system-wide.

Logging on to the Display Protocol Editor in Standalone Mode

You must log on to the Display Protocol Editor using the same user name and password as in the Vue PACS Client.

1.  Click the INTERNET EXPLORER icon.

2.  Enter the address of your application.

NOTE: If you do not know your Vue PACS Client address, see the system administrator.

The Vue PACS Client window opens.

3.  Click the Tools link.

The Vue PACS Tools page appears.

NOTE: If the tool link is missing, you must first log in to the PACS Client. The tools menu is only available after the Viewer has been run at least once.

3.  Click DP Editor.

The Vue PACS Client Login window appears.

4.  Type your user name and password.

5.  Click OK.

The Display Protocol Editor window appears.

6.  Go to Creating a New Display Protocol.

Logging on to the Display Protocol Editor from the PowerViewer

1.  From the DP menu in the PowerViewer, select Open DP Editor.

The Display Protocol Editor window appears showing the current display protocol.

2.  Go to Creating a New Display Protocol.
