Use the PET MIP image in relation to the CT-PET-Fusion images (single plain).

Use the PET MIP image in relation to a single dataset, such as PET, using different windowing.

Orientation

The MPR windows must show the same orientation, either of the same or of different datasets. The default is different datasets.

You cannot view registered datasets in different orientations simultaneously. For example, you cannot control the orientation of an MPR window independently from the other MPR windows. If you change the axial axis to a coronal axis in one window, then the orientation in the other images is also affected.

You can view unregistered datasets in different orientations simultaneously. Because the MPR windows are not synchronized, you can control the orientation in each window separately.

Parameters

The dataset displayed in each MPR window is independent from the other windows. The two unfused MPR windows can show the same data. In this situation, you can apply different windowing to each window. The MPR fused windows always show the predefined PET/CT fusion image.  

The three MPR windows are linked by default. You can scroll the images simultaneously.

The Zoom and Pan parameters are synchronized between the MPR windows.

The Windowing parameter is not synchronized between the MPR windows.

The data displayed in the three-dimensional window is not synchronized with the data displayed in the MPR windows. All parameters, such as Zoom, Pan, Scrolling, Orientation, Swiveling, are independent from data displayed in the MPR windows.

Renditions  

The three-dimensional window shows by default a MIP rendition of the PET series, and supports following additional rendition types: MIP, MPR Slab, and MIP Slab.

You can select the dataset in the three-dimensional window through the Replace With annotation or through the PMA. The content of the fusion image can not be replaced by another series. However, you can present the pre-defined fused image in any of the window-sets using the Replace With annotation.

If you view a specific rendition type and then change the dataset displayed in the three-dimensional window, the rendition type does not change. For example, if you view a PET MIP image in the three-dimensional window, and used the Replace With annotation to switch to the CT series, the three-dimensional window would show a MIP image of the CT series.

NOTE: A fusion MIP image is not supported. The three-dimensional window will display the fusion image, but the MIP image option is unavailable.

Relate Mode
