1. Load the images as described in Creating a Coronary Analysis View.
If you load a specific phase of a study, you will be prompted to load the additional patient images suitable for viewing with the Coronary Analysis application.
2. Click Yes to load all the phases of the selected group of images.
The Select Phases for Cage Removal dialog box appears.
NOTE: If there are only one or two phases, the cage removal process takes place automatically (meaning that the cage removal algorithm is automatically applied).
3. Select the phase(s) in which the heart cage should be removed.
You can also select that it should be removed in all phases or not at all.
4. Click OK.
The cage removal calculation takes place, after which the image is displayed as a Volume Rendered image.
If the application was invoked from the Archive Explorer, the first phase displayed is the first phase that was loaded.
If the application was invoked from the Phase Viewer, the phase displayed is the same as the phase of the active result image in the Phase Viewer.
The currently displayed phase is indicated on the top center of the result image.
NOTE: To perform cage removal, you can also click Cage Removal on the Coronary Analysis toolbar.
