Placing a Seed Point

The seed point option lets you separate a particular tissue from other tissues with the same pixel values. A seed point can be placed on the MIP image or any of the MPR or Volume Rendered reference images.

NOTE: Only one seed point can be placed on an image. Place the seed point as far as possible from the edges of the tissue. You should look through the slices to gain an idea of the overall tissue structure before picking a point.

1.  From the Tissue Definition toolbar, click Mark a Seed Point .

2.  Click to place the seed point on the image and location you want.

The connected pixels within the highlight range on all slices are colored blue on the MPR reference images.

3.  To place a different seed point, click again on a different location.

The previous seed point is erased and a new seed point is created where you clicked.
