Placing an Outside Point

If the seed point is too closely connected to another point, you can make some fine adjustments. You can have multiple outside points on an image.

NOTE: Place the outside point as far as possible from the edges of the tissue. You should look through the slices to gain an idea of the overall tissue structure before picking a point.

1.  From the Tissue Definition toolbar, click Outside .

2.  Click the unwanted area of the displayed image.

The point is marked by an X.

3. To add another outside point, click another area.

You can have unlimited outside points, but only one seed point.

4. To delete an outside point, select the point and press Delete.
