1. Open Archive Explorer (Ctrl +N).
2. Select the studies you want to transfer to a local computer.
Important: You must remain at the study level to use Push to Client. The Push to Client is inactive at the series or image level in Archive Explorer.
3. Initiate Push to Client.
4. In the Push to Client dialog box, select:
Target Receiver:
Myself—Selects your local computer as the destination.
Another User—Allows you to define another user as the destination.
History Policy:
Push with Relevant History—Includes current studies and prior studies for comparison.
Push without History—Includes current studies only.
NOTE: If several studies for the same patient are from the same day, then the system transfers prior studies for the most current case out of the selected studies.
5. Click OK to initiate the transfer. The status bar in Archive Explorer shows the message "Selected studies were marked to be pushed."
Important: If the studies you select are locked by other users, you will see a warning message. You can click Cancel to deselect studies or select different studies. You can click OK to override the lock status and proceed with the file transfer.
6. Use the Spooler Dialog to monitor the status of the transfer request.
7. When the Spooler shows that the transfer is successful and complete, the study is available for download on the local computer.
NOTE: You can use a worklist for 'pushed' studies, for a convenient way to see the studies that are stored locally for you or a specific user.
Important: The target receiver must have Receive Studies in the active/on mode in order to receive the studies transferred from Push to Client.
