When you use Save as DP, the results will retain specific parameters while omitting other parameters. Review the categories of information described here before you apply the Save as DP function.
When you use Save as DP, the display protocol retains the following information:
Image parameters, such as Zoom and Windowing
Rendition types, such as PowerViewer, MPR, MipPR, MinPR, in each window
Links
Reference lines, including Show Reference Only on the Localizer parameter
When you use Save as DP, the display protocol omits the following information:
Thickness and spacing for MPR images (the information is taken from the DICOM data when applying a DP)
Orientation in a non-patient plane
Reference points of the presented datasets
Thickness and spacing are saved for MipPR and MinPR images.
Orientation is saved when it is set for one of the patient axis (axial, coronal or sagittal).
Links created with the Link tool are saved for groups with the same frame of reference.
If the Automatic Link tool is active, the Save as DP function ignores any other links and saves only the activated mode (automatic link).
