Viewing Result Images in MipPR Mode

You can view slabs of data in a MIP viewing mode, which is used, amongst others, for blood vessels pulmonary nodules etc.

1.  Set the result images to show the anatomy you want.

2.  Right-click the image and select Change Image.

Or

Click the MPR annotation  at the right of the image display area.

Or, in PowerViewer, from the toolbar click the Change Image Renditions drop-down menu .

3.  Select MipPR from the drop-down menu.

The result image view changes from a regular MPR view to a MIP view. Also, the slab thickness and spacing changes. The dynamic annotation of slab thickness shows the thickness of the slab, as well as the rendition type being used. For example, a 10 mm annotation will show MipPR 10.0 mm.

You can edit the MipPR slab thickness and spacing in the same manner as regular MPR images. See Changing the Slice Thickness and Spacing.

4.  To return to regular MPR view, select MPVR from the drop-down menu.
