1. Apply the Automatically Remove Bone tool.

2. From the Automatically Remove Bone drop-down menu, click Remove Bone Fragments .

3. Click on each bone fragment that you want to remove from the image.

4. To hide or show the current bone tissue, click Tissue --> Show Tissue --> Bone Tissue.

Exceptions and Behaviors

• If you use VOI tools or Tissue Definition tools to manually remove bone fragments, the bone fragments do not appear in the Tissue menu list.

• If you click Tissue --> Show Tissue --> Bone Tissue to toggle the entire bone tissue on or off. This will toggle the entire bone tissue, with both the automatically-defined bone and all corrections made to it up to this point.

• If you apply the Automatically Remove Bone tool and then edit the Bone Tissue to remove the bone fragments, the fragments are saved as part of the Bone Tissue.

1. Apply the Automatically Remove Bone tool.

2. From the Automatically Remove Bone drop-down menu, click Restore Removed Vessels .

NOTE: In Restore Removed Vessels mode, you must click in two locations to define a start point and an end point for the vessel.

3. The Status Bar prompts you to place the start point on the image. When the mouse cursor changes to (1), click on the image to define the first point.

4. The Status Bar prompts you to place the end point on the image. When the mouse cursor changes to (2), click on the image to define the second point.

The tool tracks and generates the vessel segment between the two points. The Status Bar indicates when:

• the vessel segmentation is in process.

• the vessel restoration is complete (successful)

• the vessel restoration is incomplete (failed).

The mouse cursor returns to the previous mode, such as Swivel or Zoom.

Exceptions and Behavior

When you click on the three-dimensional image, the two-dimensional images indicate the clicking point.

If you select a different mode before you finish defining two points for the vessel, you cancel the Restore Removed Vessels mode.

NOTE: You can also use Tissue Definition --> Edit Tissue to restore vessels manually.

Click Undo Latest Bone Correction to restore the bone fragment that you most recently removed from the image, or remove the vessel which you most recently added to the image.
