Automatically Remove Bone applies to all bones below the shoulders. You can remove bones above the shoulders using manual segmentation.
Automatically Remove Bone does not remove bones in the shoulder, neck, and skull regions. Automatically Remove Bone places a clipping plane from the shoulder region up to the skull region. The clipping plane hides the shoulder, neck, and skull regions. You can modify and move the clipping plane as required.
When the bones are removed, fragments of vessels in the foot, ankle, tibial, intercostal, and gluteal arteries can also be removed from the image. Conversely, small bone fragments can remain in the image. You can use correction tools to adjust the results. You can select the correction tools from the drop-down menu of the Automatically Remove Bone icon.
