Display Option: All

The All display option shows all three datasets on all three standard axes simultaneously, including a three-dimensional image on the PET series. You can choose to present the fusion image in each of the windows, but you can not control the content of the fusion image. The fusion images present the PET/CT fusion image.

Observe all related PET-CT views, including MIP.

Exceptions and Behaviors

Orientation

Each row of MPR images shows a single dataset. The same row cannot mix different datasets. The first two rows in the 3x3 layout could show the exact same data, which you can view with different windowing. The third row in the 3x3 layout window will always show the PET-CT fusion image.

Each column of MPR images shows a single orientation. The same column cannot mix different orientations.

You can change the MPR orientation/planar view.

You cannot view registered datasets in different orientations simultaneously. Each dataset is synchronized when you change the orientation.

You can view unregistered datasets in different orientations simultaneously. Because the datasets are not synchronized, you can control the orientation in each window separately.

Parameters

The Zoom and Pan parameters are synchronized between all MPR images.

Scrolling is synchronized between similar orientations.

Windowing is synchronized for images from the same dataset. Changing the windowing of PET or CT images can affect the Fused images.

You cannot scroll across an orientation or window across a dataset individually. The parameters are synchronized.

You can change the dataset by using the Replace With annotation or the PMA. Each dataset replacement affects the windows belonging to the row that you selected. The other rows are not affected.

Renditions

The upper three-dimensional window shows by default the PET MIP image. You can use the window to show any other dataset or change the rendition type using the applicable annotation.

If you change the data to a fusion image when the MIP rendition is displayed, the rendition changes to MPR Slab, in a coronal orientation.

The bottom three-dimensional window remains empty by default. You can use the window to show any other dataset or change the rendition type using the applicable annotation.

Relate Mode

You can use Relate Mode to relate 3D-to-MPR, MPR-to-MPR, and MPR-to-3D datasets. See Correlating Regions of Interest in Registered Studies (Relate Mode).
