Display Option: Single Datasets

The Single Dataset display options are available in 2x2 and 1x4 layouts. You can view a single dataset showing all three standard axes and a 3D representation. The default dataset type is PET series; three MPR images and one 3D MIP image.

Review single PET series, with MIP image serving as an index.
Review any other series.

Exceptions and Behavior

Orientation

The MPR windows show the same dataset, and each window has a pre-defined view (axial, coronal and sagittal).

You can change the MPR orientation/planar view.

You cannot control the image in an MPR window independently from the other images.

Parameters

The Zoom, Pan, and Windowing parameters are synchronized between the MPR windows.

Renditions

The three-dimensional window supports by default a MIP rendition of the PET series

The dataset displayed in the three-dimensional window is the same dataset that is displayed in the MPR windows. If you apply the Replace With annotation, the dataset is switched in all windows. You can also use PMA to switch the dataset.

NOTE: A fusion MIP is not supported. The three-dimensional window will display a fused dataset as a MIP PET image.

Relate Mode

You can use Relate Mode to relate 3D-to-MPR, MPR-to-MPR, and MPR-to-3D images. See Correlating Regions of Interest in Registered Studies (Relate Mode).
