Several PET/CT parameters can be configured in Application Settings.
1. Open the Application Settings window.
2. Do one of the following:
In the left-pane tree, click the plus sign next to Clinical Applications and select PET-CT Application.
Click Clinical Applications and in the right pane click Configure PET-CT Settings
3. You can set the following:
Determine which tool will be active upon loading of the PET/CT study – Zoom, Windowing, Pointer, Swivel, or Relate.
Set the minimum and maximum Standard Uptake Values (SUV) for lesion highlighting.
Set the following options:
- Display a Wireframe Around the MIP Image. By default the wire frame is hidden for all users.
- Enable automatic swivel of the MIP image upon loading of the study.
- Default Merge Method. By default, the merge method for fusion images is Alpha Blending. You can change it to Highlight. See Adjusting Opacity.
The shown MIP in the PET/CT application is a weighted MIP that better illustrates the depth of the data.
To disable the weighting and thus show a regular un-weighted image click the MIP On/Off button in the 3D bar.
